Summary: AWESOME - for Avril fans!
Review: In Avril's own words, "AWESOME"!Having said that, Avril sang off key, missed notes, and sang out of pitch most of the time. But i thoroughly enjoyed the DVD. I think she is quite talented, forthright, and spunky. A friend of mine, who is about 15 years younger than me, thought i must me mad to enjoy her performance. But i looked at the overall entertainment value of this product and was satisfied with my purchase. The extras are great too - except for the bits where she is rolling around drunk - no need to show her young fans that this is cool. In summary, if you are an Avril fan, you will LOVE this DVD with a cd extra. If you aren't, you will probably wonder how she did without singing lessons! By the way, i believe this was her last concert in the tour, so its quite possible she was tired and needing a rest. Only a theory.

Review: I love Avril Lavigne she is so talented and she is a great song writer. Avril is one of my favorite artists. the reason baught this DVD,besides me loving Avril, was because my friend won 4 tickets to go to the premiere of this DVD. When she told me I was like o sh*t,you need to give them to me because I love Avril. of course she gave them to me. I got really excited when i found out Avril was going to be there in person! The Premiere was on November 3rd,2003 at 7p.m. at the AMC Empire 25 Theater in New York city. I waited for three hours on the red carpet outside to get in and,I was in the front of the line. Unfortunately I didnt get to see Avril on the red carpet because the had to let us in early so we could get to our seats. Avril went to TRL and did some interviews before the premiere so, got there around 7:45 and she went in and I saw her,she was so beautiful she looks better in person, she was wearing a white tank top with black jeans and a black jacket. She wwas only three rows infront of me. She thanked us for coming out to see her and,she went out to get popcorn for herself. The premiere was great they showed everything from the DVD and a few songs from the concert.I had so much fun! To my surprise Avril was sitting right behind me!!!!!!!!!!!! I didnt even know it until she got up from her seat to leave because she had to do more interviews.
a week later I baught the DVD and obviously I knew what was on it,on the DVD it had all of her music videos and everything else was the same. One thing I noticed was that Avril's voice changed it wasn't that high piched teen voice that was on her album,Let GO.Its not she can't sing anymore its just that her voice evolved from a teenager's voice to a woman's voice. She was much younger when she recorded the album she was 16 and now she is 19. And she is so true to her fans that go to her shows that she wont lypsync. The live versions of the songs sound even better than the recorded versions on the album. This DVD is great it has bonus CD with 6 songs on it including 2 covers, Knockin'on heaven's door by Billy Joel and,Basketcase by Greenday. This DVD is defenetly worth every penny of your money and even if you dont like Avril youll find something about it you like,Hey it might even cause you to like her.

Review: For those of you reading the comments and reviews claiming Avril is not great as a live singer - disregard them. Yes she does hit some bad notes on the dvd and her voice is a little deeper than normal but you need to remember you can't be perfect every performance, it was filmed at the end of a tour and when you're giving your all on stage you tend to lose some "breath." For those who claim she can't sing live then they need to check out her AOL Sessions, her tribute to Metallica, her Bands to bet on performance or just about any other regular live performance. She really has a beautiful voice live and hits those high notes as if it's second nature. To those who posted negative reviews about her live performances in general i challenge them to watch the live performances i mentioned and then come back with the same opinion. I recommend this DVD to Avril fans.

Review: To start, I really love Avril's music. As an avid fan, I stood in line all day to get in the front row at her Long Beach show in May and I even waited for 4 hours afterward to get her autograph. When she arrived in her limo, she talked with us for a moment, but said she was too drunk to sign autographs. That was the beginning of my disappointment in her. As a 25 year old musician, I know I'm somewhat outside the typical age/gender range of an Avril fan, but I've always enjoyed her music. It's just very well written and performed...on studio tracks anyway. I bought this DVD to reminisce about my concert experience. I really did enjoy seeing her live, but I think that it was the whole experience that made it great...not necessarily the music or its execution. Watching this DVD from the comfort of my own home forced me to focus on the music. There were no longer 15,000 screaming teenagers distracting me from the actual performances. Frankly, when the experience is stripped down to the music, it just plain sucks. For one, the mix is horrible on this DVD. It's very muddy and it's difficult to hear the bass and even guitar sometimes. Avril is also severely off key in nearly every song, ruining any replay value that this disc may have had. Note to the producers: This is 2004, go spend a couple grand on a decent pitch shifter and make us all a lot happier. This is not a polished or professional performance at all! I've seen quite a few bands live (U2, Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, etc.) and Avril does not compare in the least. Perhaps in refusing to correct all of these flaws, the producers were hoping for a "raw" sound. Well, they got it...and the raw Avril sucks! I really wanted to enjoy this DVD, but it's just too unprofessional. It makes me wonder who put together this together and whether or not they are still employed. For the sake of a quick buck, I'm sure these guys just packaged the raw video feed knowing that people would still buy it. It's a shame...there was so much potential for this disc to be good. I'm glad that it has some decent bonus material otherwise it would've become a coaster. Still, I just can't recommend this.

Review: This DVD is great I mean you can see Avril live sure is not the same voice as the cd BUT IS AWESOM!!!!!On backstage she is great you can see the real Avril. This concert is great for any Avril Fan. The best song on this DVD is ''Sk8er boi'' and ''I dont give''. I recomend it is beacause it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: Avril's first album is great. In the album, Avril delivers her lyrics so well that at first, I couldn't believe the fact she was a teenager. Then this My World DVD came out. Well, after watching the DVD, I couldn't believe the girl in the video was the same girl, who made a phenomenal debut album. It's sure exciting to see her live performance, but obviously she can't hit the right notes. Her voice is now way too lower than before, and she has trouble hitting high notes. Her worst performance can be seen on COMPLICATED; I had to turn down the volume. Now I have to wonder if she used a pro-tool on her first album to get pitches fixed. Although she has a good voice, she ain't a good singer, at least on stage. She is still a good songwriter, though. In short, I wouldn't recommend this DVD to those who have good ears in music.

Review: This thing is well worth the money. You know how a lot of artists dvds have JUST their videos? Well this dvd has all her videos, a whole concert, behind the scenes footage, picture gallerys, and a 6 track bonus cd! No im not insane, all of this is included in this dvd for under 25 bucks. I am a big Avril Lavigne fan. I saw her in concert in San Jose on april 30th, and I was one row away from the front. It was one of the best concerts i've ever been to. Avril has a lot of talent and she sings her heart out. A full concert is included on this dvd, almost giving you a full concert expierience. I got this dvd yesterday, and I have already watched it over 2 times! It just keeps dragging you in and makes you wanna watch it again and again! The bonus CD included has 6 tracks. Fuel (live),Basketcase(live),Unwanted(live),Sk8er Boi(live), Knockin on heavens door(live), and a UK B-side called Why.The tracks on the cd, in my opinion, are some of the best live tracks from the concert, but it's just missing my favorite song: I dont give. Overall a great DVD, well worth the price. Also, any anti-avrils reading my review, you saying that it's not helpful, or posting reviews that this product is bad even though you probably don't own it, is useless, makes you seem stupid, and proves that you are a jackass with nothing better to do.
