Review: Until they do a tour of the States, this will satisfy the fans of this group. As for the show itself, it mixes classical type music with MTV-like quick and dizzying camera angles. Although, while I'm glad to have a copy of their versions of the James Bond Theme, and the theme from "Dallas", plus their controversial "Viva" appearance at the Classical Brit awards, I have one question. Is it me, or does this whole show sound too perfect compared to the CD? In otherwords, are the girls really playing, or is it all recorded?

Summary: Never knew about the quartet Bond until the DVD
Review: Walked into Fry's Fountain Valley, CA and saw the performance on big screen. Astounding! I stood there for the next few repeat performances of Victory. The stack of DVDs next to the screen was reduced to the last one so I grabbed that one. A few days later I played the concert at home in full and a few days later watched the 2 bonus tracks.

These girls are all accomplished musicians; they all have degrees in music. See http://www.deccaclassics.com/artists/bond/biog.asp
From what I've been reading on the net Gay-yee Westerhoff and Eos started it all when they got fed up with working backup for other groups.

My honest opinion? They are gifted, educated, beautiful, high-energy and will contribute much to musical entertainment. I can't wait to see them live in a concert and I usually don't like concerts because they are boring, but I will most definitely want to see Bond.

Here is a bonus video on their website:

Look for the Dec 2, 2003 item under Bond News. That video is great! Anyone know where I can get the Japanese DVD version?

One minor gripe--why did they pick the name "Bond?" Searching is a royal pain cuz James Bond shows up a lot on Google and Ebay :)

Review: well i as well saw/heared the DVD playing at a local electronic store and was tempted to buy it.
after the first time playing it i was dissapointed to find only a couple notes worthy of listenign to.
after the 2nd round the dvd became old.
the impressions looked fake and the energy everybodys talking about somehow didnt show on my DVD.
to sum it up, i expected something new and exciting and i found an early 80`s like band playing on a cheap movie.
not really recomended.

Review: What's not to like about four hot chicks shaking their bottoms playing classical music? "Victory", the song you probably heard in the watch commercial is by far their best song. All the others are not so great. Unfortunately, it gets tiresome after a while, the bottom-shaking and classical music - definitely not something that will stay with us for a while.

Review: You need to mention that this cannot be viewed on alot of DVD machines in the United States. I could only see it on my computer laptop....a BIG disappointment.
