Summary: THIS IS REAL GOOD
Review: THIS IS A VERY GOOD CONCERT. FLEETWOOD MAC WAS NEVER ANYWHERE NEAR MY FAVORITE BAND BUT I'M GLAD I BOUGHT THIS ONE. I REALLY DIDN'T EXPECT TO LIKE IT THIS MUCH. A FRIEND SUGGESTED IT AND I'M GLAD THAT HE DID. LINDSAY BUCKINGHAM PLAYS SOME VERY GOOD GUITAR.

Summary: EXCELLENT MUSIC DVD
Review: This music dvd is simply one of the best around.
Great sound and camerawork!

They really thought this one out and captured this great music group at one of their finest moments!

This was done in a controlled studio setting with a live audience.

It's a MUST for all music lovers!

Review: I am a huge FM fan. I was sceptical about buying this because the band hadn't been together for awhile, and well, they were older. I wondered if the magic had been lost. All I can say is that I was a fool to think that! I could have been enjoying this concert DVD ages ago.

I bought the DVD this week after reading such positive reviews on Amazon. Stevie Nick's voice is still in top form, despite what others have said about her voice during this concert. She also seemed to really enjoy being back on stage with the band. It's common knowledge that Christine McVie didn't want to be part of this concert, and it shows. This is my only complaint with the concert - she rarely smiles and looks out of place - she has the look of "is it time to go yet?" She puts only an average effort into the songs she sings at this concert. Anyway, aside from that, you get FM showcasing some of their best stuff including brilliant renditions of "Tusk" and "Landslide".

I can't recommend this music DVD enough, it's brilliant. It might not have DTS, but that isn't a problem - the 5.1 is absolutely fine. This is a music DVD that belongs in every FM fan's collection. Buy it and treasure it.

Summary: One of the best....
Review: This is great entertainment for a wide age range. This show definitely amplified my appreciation for this band. Don't even bother with the PCM side, go straight for the DD5.1 :)

Summary: Complete five starts all the way!
Review: The Mac hits big with this set! The stage is professionally lit, the music is layered and professionally done live, lots of guitars. It's so nice to see everyone together again for their new beginning. Stevie and Lindsey do a sensitive rendition of "Silver Springs" and Christine nails "songbird" yet again. Classic Mac, a must have.

Summary: Very good concert!
Review: This is the best Fleetwood Mac concert! They do the classics, "Dreams" "The Chain" "Go your own way" and many others. There are also some new ones including "My little demon" and "Silver springs."

The advantage of having the video is that you get the whole concert. I was appalled when it on aired on MTV the first time. They cut out 40 minutes. The PBS version was an improvement, they had about 20 minutes more-but even the PBS version leaves a lot to be desired. Both the MTV and PBS versions left out "I'm too afraid" This song is a tour de force for Lindsey Buckingham-it showcases his incrediable talent on the guitar.

Get this viedo-you won't be disapointed!

Summary: GREAT UNTIL THIS DAY
Review: WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT FLEETWOOD MAC BUT UNBELIEVABLE. THIS IS TRUELY A 5 STAR DVD THAT COMES CLOSE TO THE EAGLES "HELL FREEZES OVER" AND IS NOT THAT FAR OFF. THE TALENT OF THIS GROUP FOR SO MANY YEARS AND TO HAVE THEM COME BACK AND REPRODUCE LIKE THEY DID IN THIS DVD IS A EXPERIENCE. STEVIE NICKS VOICE CONTINUES TO BE EXCELLANT BUT LINDSEY BUKINGHAM DEFINITLY STEALS THE SHOW WITH SUCH GREAT PASSION AND THOUGHTS ON HIS LIFE AND CHANGES THROUGHOUT THE CONCERT ESPECIALLY IN HIS SOLO OF "BIG LOVE". HE IS A RARE TALENT THAT I COMPARE IN THE DELVERY OF HIS MUSIC OF DON HENLY BUT YET RARELY GETS THE CREDIT FOR HIS UNIQUE STYLE OF GUITER PLAYING THAT FEW IN THE WORLD CAN DO. WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT MICK FLEETWOOD WHO STARTED THE WHOLE THING AND DELIVERS A TERRRIFIC OPEN MOUTH PERFOMANCE ON THE DRUMS. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED CHRISTIE MCVIE'S VOICE BUT I WOULD HAVE LIKE TO SEE MORE EXCITEMENT OUT OF HER DURING THE CONCERT. THE BEST WAS WHEN LINDSEY AND STEVIE SING TO EACH OTHER AND KISS AT THE END OF THE SONG. THROUGHOUT ALL THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS THIS GROUP HAS GONE THROUGH IT IS GREAT THAT LIFE HAS COME BACK TO THEM AND THEY CAN CELEBRATE AND DELIVER A GREAT PERFORMANCE. THIS IS ONE DVD THAT WILL ALWAYS BE PLAYED AND WILL NEVER GROW OLD.. BUY IT ENJOY IT AND ESPECIALLY WATCH LINDSEY AND HOW MUCH THIS MEANT TO HIM BOTH FROM A MUSICAL EXPERIENCE BUT A LIFE EXPERIENCE.

Summary: Like fine wine....
Review: I guess I never thought it was possible. I have loved Fleetwood Mac my entire life and never though in a million years I could be happy with live versions of their best, but older songs. Boy was I wrong.

Time cast a spell on this group and they were able to use their growth and experience over the years to actually improve upon their best songs. WOW!

Not only do they look great...especially Christine, but they some better than ever.

Some musical standouts...Silver Springs. This song never got the attention it deserved so it particularly nice to see that is front and center in this concert.

Bleed To Love Her from Lindsay Buckingham is a truly awesome love song.

This is Fleetwood Mac at its very best.

Summary: Exceptional Entertainment
Review: I have always enjoyed listening to Stevie Nicks solo and never knew much about the Fleetwood Mac days or the songs they did as a group. I bought this DVD simply because of my desire to see more Stevie Nicks. I have no idea how good the music of the Fleetwood Mac days happened to be.
I enjoyed the show completely with the exception of "Tusk". I guess I just didn't get it. But the rest of the show was great. If a person is a Stevie Nicks fan, as I am, this would be well worth adding to a collection.

Review: Fleetwood Mac: The Dance

Recorded at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank in 1997, this is a reunion concert for Fleetwood Mac (with a golden "Rumours" line-up of 1977) , who had been in hibernation for a while at the time of recording The Dance album. The fact that they had not played live together for a while did not seem to be a problem for these great musicians as they jumped straight into one of the best renditions of "The Chain" I have heard from them. And the concert just went off from there. A collection of some of their best known hits interspersed with new tracks from "The Dance" album plus some solo works from Lindsey Buckingham, this is a very enjoyable concert indeed. 106 minutes and 22 tracks of real good rocking. The finale ("Tusk" and "Don't Stop") with additional eighty piece brass marching band is really something!
This is really great live music from one of the genuine legendary bands of the rock era and it is a fine way to get to know this great band (except for those who remember Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, of course).

Try it anyway, and you won't be disappointed!
