Rating: Summary: True Pleasure... not a RUMOR Review: I've never seen a concert or a concert video of this historic band before. So, it's a true pleasure for me to watch them and their perfoemance on this DVD. All the songs are great and bring me back to 70's and 80's with some memeries. They all are very talented. Particularly I was mesmerised by Lindsay with his guitar: "Big Love" is awesome! And it's so good to see Stevie with "Gipsy" and Christine with "Songbird". It was a nice try to perform with the marching band. So... try this!!
Rating: Summary: A GREAT SHOW Review: I was skeptical that FM could recapture the magic of the past, but this video took care of any skeptisism that I had. I disagree with the comments made about shelving "Go Insane." It was Lindsey's high point. And the intro to "Rhiannon" was hardly cheesy - I was moved by Stevie's pain. Christine McVie is excellent throughout. But the highlight is "Silver Springs" Hearing Stevie sing about a broken love is just incredible.
Rating: Summary: excellent dvd Review: This dvd is worth buying coz the songs are great and generally an enjoyable experience.
Rating: Summary: I Danced Review: Almost as good as Rumours--the emotion shined, but I wish they'd put more on the CD from here like Gypsy, etc. Everyone who likes good music should get this video.Wild Heart
Rating: Summary: Sound quality excellent, video quality good Review: I was disappointed that the video quality was not up to the high standard set by the Rolling Stones 'Bridges to Babylon' DVD. Otherwise, it was a great concert video.
Rating: Summary: A Great Comeback For Fleetwood Mac Review: Well, first of all, where is Stand Back? It could have taken the place of Bleed To Love Her, or Go Insane. I have no clue why Lindsey brought his solo stuff into the reunion tour. Stevie, on the other hand, made Sweet Girl perfect for Fleetwood Mac. On the other hand, it could have been a little more like her demo version. GDW ROCKED!!!!! Dreams was a little corny, and Temporary One was ok. Tusk was good, but they should have included Not That Funny...It was a number 1 live hit in the 70;s, so why didnt they include it? I LOVE SILVER SPRINGS!! That is the highlight of the whole video. Rhiannon was cheesy at the beginning...they should have used that time at the end, to make it like the version on the Fleetwood Mac Live album of 1980. But it still was good...who said that old foogies cant sing?
Rating: Summary: Awesome, buy it ! Review: There are a couple of songs that I'd rather not see on this video, because there are so many better ones. However, I can live with one or two so-so's. The rest was so great I can't tell you. It was so good to see. Just like seeing the Eagles together again. Need I say more?!
Rating: Summary: Stevie-rific!!! Review: I bought the tape a month after it's release in November. The songs were great. I was really suprised by not seing Rick Vito, or Billy Burnette. They have contributed a great deal to Fleetwood Mac's 'Behind the Mask' with Stevie and Christine. Lindsey was a little off key at time and really wacky in his songs especally 'The Chain, Bleed to Love her, My little Demon' all his other songs were great. Christine was great, I'm suprised she took the stage since the flop "Time" was released and bombed in 1995. Temporary One was weak compared to her past songs such as Save Me, Everywhere, Don't Stop. Her songs were very great performed live though,. She may be older but hasn't lost her musical touch one bit. I especially loved Over my head, Everywhere, You Make Loving Fun. Stevie made a great comeback she was all decked out in her witchy outfits and perfect in voice. A few tracks I would have got rid of would be Dreams, she dosn't sing it where it is meaning full since the Tusk tour. Gold dust Woman was ok, but the video 'Tango in the Night' displayed a better version. Sweet Girl could have been spiced up like her demo version on 'Enchanted'. Silver Springs great, Gypsy was kinda short, and Rhiannon lost it's great ending when Stevie would go into [Dream on silly dreamer try hard you cant leave her]. And where was Stand Back , it would have made a great addition compared to "Go Insane". I really liked the tape, the reunion was cheesy. You'd expect Stevie to at least ask Bekka Bramlett to do Back up too, Sharon Celoni and Mindy Stein Rocked! Bekka had great songs on Time, but it wasn't a full FM efort. Billy, Rick, and Bekka should have joined them on the stage as well as Peter Green and Bob Welch. Fleetwood Mac has alott of talent not just From Stevies outstanding solo carear but the Dance, should have been a complete reunion.
Rating: Summary: I loved it. It's great. Review: This dvd is by far one of the best on the market today. It is a must for any collector. I just wish this was encoded for DTS.
Rating: Summary: This is how all Rock Concert DVD's should be done! Review: Whether or not you like Fleetwood Mac, you will be extremely impressed with the quality of the audio and video in this DVD. Chances are, if you didn't used to like the band, you WILL after you see and hear this. Most of the other Rock DVD's I've bought pale in comparison to the quality here. It's a 'must have' for any collection.
