Summary: Brilliant!
Review: This film was brill! I went to it with my mom when my sister and dad were away, and besides how real it is, Britney is one of my personal favourite singers, and she's a brilliant actress too! The movie is so believable (except for the fact that there is so much...what Britney doesn't do) I like it and Kit is the best!

Summary: britney seems lost in crossroads
Review: britney was not focusing on her acting in this movie she was focusing more on her body.i'm ashamed that she's a role model for young girls and her dreadful voice ruined classic songs like i love rock & roll and madonna's open your heart.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: not only does britney stink in singing but also in acting
Review: crossroads is one of the most boring movies i've ever seen and the most annoying part is singing in the car all the time.
britney has no expressions in her face and is a horrible actress ...

Summary: UNMISSABLE!!!
Review: This a great movie, way better than I expected. OK Britney is not an amazing actress but with her looks and talent does she really need to be? This really makes you feel good about yourself and the main guy in it is fit!

Summary: Britney Spears is a better actress than hype would have it!
Review: I'm not a big fan of Britney Spears and I've never been much impressed by her singing. Recently, I've almost felt sorry for her the way she's been dumped upon from a lot of quarters of late, including in criticisms of this movie. She seemed one of the main ones provoking a "singers shouldn't try to act" attitude of late. In light of all that, her performance in this was a pleasant surprise. Acting didn't seem to put her out of her league at all, in fact I believe her performance is what carried this movie. CROSSROADS is no major classic. It is a minor feel-good movie that thrives on stock characters - a circle of friends remaining true to each other, stock surprise heroes, and stock lousy parents and lovers. Just maybe minor new twists, like a mother who abandonded her child while the father strives to be the good parent, where stock characterizations would more likely have had the situation reversed. Not a lot of gray area or tremendous depth of characters, but on the whole this is a minor feel-good romp, not a waste of a night at the movies. And I believe its success owes in big part to Britney's surprise moving performance.

Summary: I went to see this with my Girlfriend and uhh..
Review: This has gotta be one of if not the worst movie ever. The plot first off is weak, so it might not be all of Britneys fault. Although, she does not add anything to this film. She should stick to music..well she should stick to being half naked because she acts about as well as she sings...BAD! This is supposed to be a coming of age chick flick for teens, however I have a feeling it is only liked by hardcore pop music fans that are 12 since nobody over that age is really a pop fan. Other than them, this film should have no fans and the fact it has 4 1/2 stars makes me sick. I feel sick that I have to actually rate it 1 star, 0 stars better desribes this film. VERY VERY VERY HORRIBLE MOVIE!

Summary: I LOVED this movie
Review: I went to see this movie with my friend, hoping it wouldn't be a waste of money. I didn't like Britney Spears, but I thought it was worth a shot. Plus I thought the commercials looked good enough to see it. The story is about three friends who went their seperate ways in high school, but were very close when they were little. In the opening scene, you hear Britney talking, and you see three little girls outside at night burying a box, and they plan to dig it up on graduation night. Then it speeds up to high school where you see straight A student Lucy (Britney Spears), pregnant trailer trash girl Mimi {she's my favorite character} (Taryn Manning "Crazy/Beautiful"), and oh so popular Kit (Zoe Saldana "Center Stage"). On graduation night, Kit and Lucy don't want to go dig up the box, but Mimi still plans to. When she goes to dig it up, she finds Kit there, and then Lucy. They dig up the box, when Mimi tells them she's going to L.A. for a singing contest. Well, they go with her and a friend of Mimi's named Ben (Anson Mount). Who has a rumor going around that he killed someone. Their car brakes down and they find themselves broke, until they enter a singing contest and win tons of money. I saw this movie twice in theaters-and lemme tell ya, it was so worth seeing, and I'm happy I saw it. And I'm defeniteley buying the movie when it comes out. It's great-see it!

Summary: Wow a great teen film!
Review: Well, I will get something straight right now. I am a huge fan of Britney Spears, have been since her first single. And this is my fave singer's first movie so yeah I gotta love it...and I did!! So many people love to put labels on movies, saying this isn't good just because a pop singer is in it (ex: Glitter, also). This movie has a real plot & is realistic to the world of high school and teenagers. Being a teen myself, I can relate to alot of the stuff in this movie. This movie starts out with three girls (Lucy, Kit, and Mimi) & they are in elementary school & they bury a box with their dreams and hopes in it & promise to dig it up midnight on their high school graduation. Well they don't stay friends forever through high school like they wish. Lucy is the nerdy valedictiorian, Kit is the popular preppy girl, and Mimi is known as the trashy one. None of them get along or are friends through high school. But they all end up at the place where they buried the box so long ago & they dig it up. Lucy finds her necklace with a picture of her mom who she wants to find, Kit finds her bridal Barbie that represented she wanted to get married (and she is ingaged), and Mimi finds a keychain with the world on it (she wanted to have her feet in the Pacific and see the world). So Mimi decides to go on this road trip with this guy named Ben so she can go to a record deal audition. She tells Kit and Lucy when she's leaving if they want to come. So Lucy leaves her overprotective dad in the middle of the night & leaves with Mimi and Kit (and Ben) to go on a crosscountry roadtrip to California. Lucy wants them to drop her off in Arizona though where her mom lives. On this road trip, the girls discover their friendship all over again & start to be best friends like they were meant to be. When Lucy reaches Arizona, the other three drop her off at her mother's house. It turns out her mother tells her she was a mistake & she didn't want her. So she went to LA with the other three where Kit and Mimi went to see Kit's fiance'. Kit finds out that her fiance is the one who dateraped Mimi and got her pregnant. A heated argument between Kit and her fiance' lead to Mimi *spoiler* losing her baby. So it's like these trials and tribulations these friends go through that show them all how much friendship means and that it CAN be forever. I won't give away anymore to the beautiful ending, but I highly reccomend this to everyone. Little girls will definetly want to see this movie, but some of them might not be old enough to understand what is going on in the movie. But I reccomend it to 8 yrs. old and older. I went with my friends who don't really like Britney very much, but after they saw this movie for themselves they walked out for more respect for Britney as an artist, actress, and a beautiful person. Go see "Crossroads" and you won't be dissapointed.
