Summary: Lousy dialog, bad acting.
Review: I don't blame the actors for the bad acting...they didn't have a good script to work with. This movie looked sort of cute and it started off sort of cute, but ended up being a dud. It was about the worst movie I saw this year...it's a close runner with Vanilla Sky.

Summary: CROSSROADS! What Else?
Review: Lucy, Kit, and Mimi were best friends. Until they hit highschool, that is. Then Kit became queen of the popular crew; Lucy became queen of the nerds; and Mimi became queen of the rebels. But they're all determined to follow their dreams -- no matter where they might lead. And on the day after graduation, those dreams bring Lucy, Kit, and Mimi together again -- and lead them on a road trip across the country. Along the way, they'll bicker, banter, laugh, cry, and sing their hearts out. They'll find love, friendship, and loyalty. And the'll discover that where you end up is not as important as the people you bring with you on the journey.

Summary: She s a Lucky. She s a Star
Review: I know I know. A lot of people don't like this movie. And in some way I do understand them. Of course it isn't a masterpiece, it won't become all-time classics, it won't get any Oscar (but who really knows, maybe. . . but it is completely different story), it isn't intelligent art-house picture.

YES. But what do U want? It is just different.

It is cute, funny, sometimes really touching story about 3girls&1boy_ridingincaracrosstheUSA. Well. It will be more correct to say that this movie is about character of Britney. She is the center of this story. And this movie is worth to be watched only because of her performance which is really beautiful.

This film is that one which will be understood only by appropriate audience: teenagers who like such kind of stories AND of course fans of BRITNEY. Somebody like me....

Summary: Good movie, good cast
Review: While "Crossroads" won't win any awards (except for, possibly, an MTV Movie Award, in which Britney is nominated twice), it surpisingly doesn't follow the basic formula played out by other teen road-trip films.

For instance, instead of being completely light and fluffy, there are dark undertones, dealing with pregnancy, abortion, virginity, and rape.

As for Britney's performance, she isn't a terrible actress like most critics have pegged her. Even though she isn't Julia Roberts, Britney does do excellently with what she's given.

Her costars - Zoe Saldana, Taryn Manning, Dan Akroyd, Kim Cattrall, and Anson Mount - also pour their all into their characters. The direction by Tamra Davis is well done, as is the non-stereotypical script.

While a few of the plot points annoyed me (such as Britney's hit single "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet a Woman" being turned into a poem), there are plenty more enjoyable moments, including the "I Love Rock 'N' Roll" piece in the bar.

In conclusion, don't believe a scathing word the critics have thrown at this movie! Go see it, and you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Summary: Crossroads
Review: In my opinion I think it was a good movie. Espically for young girls and girls tht are only living with one of their parents. But, it was sad that her mom didn't want to see her and totally forgot about her, and a the mom had a new family ,was married and everything. There was one part where I think was wrong because Britney had a boyfriend and he wanted to take her virginty and she didn't want to so her boyfriend had broke up with her.

Summary: A good movie
Review: Crossroads was a good movie dispite what the anti-britney people say. She isn't the best actress, but this is her FIRST movie. No one does anything perfect on their first try. People say it was a bad movie without even seeing it. Take my advice-watch it before you make a judgement about it, you might be surprised how your view will change.

Summary: Awesome Movie!!!
Review: Ok I am not 12 years old and an NSYNC fan! So this review is coming from an honest perspective not from someone who didn't even care about the movie. First off I am mad that so many reviewers who probably didn't even see the movie are dissing Britney. She did a great job! She could cry, be funny, and sing! What's so horrible about that? Don't listen to those reviews because they are just Britney-haters who didn't even see the movie. The story was also good. I really liked the message of friendship and growing up. I think every teenager could probably relate to this movie. It deals with real teen issues(drinking, sex, rape, pregnancy, growing up,friendship)not just fluff like your average teen movie. It also handles those issues well. It doesn't encourage the drinking and sex. What the movie is really about is friendships and how important they are. So if you're looking for a great, entertaining movie with an awesome cast, this movie is for you!

Summary: A Fun Movie!!
Review: I loved this movie!! The plot wasn't real deep but it was a fun movie to go see with friends and it makes you happy when you watch it. I also think that Britney is an amazing actress. I thought she really proved the critics wrong with some of the more intense scenes in the movie. I also loved her clothes!

Summary: Razzie Will Remember Britney Spears
Review: Wow, this was really bad. "Crossroads" may appeal to the 12 and under crowd, but discriminating movie buffs will cringe in horror at the sight of Britney Spears acting. Not that her performance is a stretch, anyway. I mean, c'mon: she SINGS and DANCES to her own material. "Crossroads" isn't cinema; it is product, and the only nomination Britney will receive is a big Razzie for Worst Actress. The year may not already be half-over, but Crossroads is sure to be on many Worst-of lists.
