Review: If you want a mystical journey through the Native-American experience, this is it. Robert Mirabal (flute, drums, vocals, dance and narration) and his group (Rare Tribal Mob) excel in this musical and visual extravaganza. Not only is there ultra-hip music, but a wide assortment of Native-American dancers and costumes. Mirabal's wife (Dawn) and four year old daughter (Aspen)are among the featured performers (Aspen steals the show). Mirabal (A Pueblo from Taos, New Mexico) has evolved from being strictly a flute player to become a greatly versatile artist. If you saw Robert in the PBS production of "SPIRIT" and liked what you saw, this takes it a step forward. This DVD puts Robert Mirabal at center stage and lets the spotlight shine. Shine on you crazy diamond!

Review: This DVD is SO wonderful! I have seen Robert Mirabal and the RTM in concert and it is an experience that changed my life.
This DVD is of the PBS special a few years back but it is like being at the concert when you watch it. They put on a GREAT show and Robert tells the stories behind the songs on most of his songs. If you love Native American music with a touch of "rock" in it, you will love this music. The dancers, as well as Robert will show you their culture through this DVD and you will never forget it.
