Rating: Summary: LIVE AT DONINGTON IS BEST Review: 1992's LIVE AT DONINGTON is better than NO BULL. The explanations are simple: first. Chris Slade is a much better drummer than Phil Rudd, and Donington provesthis very clearly! Second, Brian Johnson's voice was still close to top-notch form in 1992.What impress me most in AC/DC concerts (I mean the oficial video / DVD releases, since LET THERE BE ROCK) is how a band that sends such energy, entertainment and eletricity to the audience seems to be so joyless while playing their act.... Never once I've seen Malcolm and Phil and Cliff exchange one single smile to each other or to Brian or Angus ahead in the stage. This is a common feature in bands playing live, as if to say to each other: "Ok, this night we're kicking as... Everything's alright..", or something like that. You can check it in Iron Maiden videos or Judas Priest videos, for example..... Angus climbs up Brian's shoulder, that's for sure, but he could be climbing upona wall, it would have the same effect, so "cold" seems the relationship between both of them on the stage... It seems that AC/DC members just don't care about each other, as long as everyone is doing their job... weird thing..
Rating: Summary: Your making me dizzy! Review: AC/DC is a great band and anything they touch turns to gold, but, can sombody tell the camera men to let us look at one sceen for more than 5 seconds? I know they want to make it look exciting but AC/DC can do that by themselfs. Just set one camera with a zoom lens in the back and let me watch the confounded concert! P.H.
Rating: Summary: It is that good...NO BULL Review: Awesome DVD, AC/DC is so much better live. Angus puts on the show and Brian voice sounds good. Effects were awesome best concert DVD i have ever seen. Keep on Rockin!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Not so much the sound.... Review: Does the director of this DVD suffer from A.D.D? The picture quality is very good...yes, the sound could be better, but HOLY COW, what's with cutting to a different camera angle every other second? I can see this one triggering an epileptic seizure faster than a strobe light! Guess I'll have to pick up "Live at Donington", and hope that the editing is less frenetic.
Rating: Summary: Director doesn't have a clue! Review: Don't get me wrong, I love AC/DC, which is why I bought the DVD. The concert is amazing, and that's the whole problem. The camera work and editing is so disjointed and frenetic, you never get to watch the band in action. The entire concert is filmed with switches between cameras almost as fast as the music, and I guess that is what the director was going for. But there is never focus on the band as a whole, or their interactions, let alone concentrating on any one member for more that 1 second. Huge disappointment.

AND "FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK", OH YES! "THEY WILL SALUTE YOU".EVERY TIME I PLAY THIS VIDEO IT SEEMS TO GET LOUDER AND LOUDER WITHOUT EVEN TOUCHING THE VOLUME CONTOLL.THEY ARE THE ULTIMATE ROCK AND ROLL BAND. BUY IT, YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN.
Rating: Summary: Eternally Angus! Review: For those of you who think Eddie Van Halen, Ace Frehley, Jimi Hendrix, and a list of other great guitarists are the very best, then you need to know who Angus Young is: he is THE VERY BEST hands down. No one puts on a show like him. Unfortunately, as good as this DVD is, no television screen can do him justice. You really need to see this man and this awesome band play live to get the full effect. I have watched many of the greatest guitarists live and on the screen, and it is a fact that Angus Young is the greatest of all time!
Rating: Summary: ULTIMATE LIVE Review: For those that dont know what live means, this is your only chance to find out. GO GET IT NOW. What you are still there, i mean NOW !!!!!
Rating: Summary: Good, but not as good as other shows. Review: For those who haven't seen their live show before, No Bull shows that AC/DC puts on one of the best shows in the business. However, it still doesn't even come close to the energy displayed in many of their earlier performances. If you really want to see an amazing show, buy Let There Be Rock on VHS. In No Bull, Angus sounds great, but there's an obvious difference between Angus in his 20s (Let There be Rock) and Angus in his 40s (No Bull). Same goes for Brian, he puts on a good performance, but no where near his performances of the early to mid 80s....Still, this is a good show, so buy it if you like some of the newer stuff better, but for a jaw-dropping performance, with showmanship just not seen anymore, watch Let There Be Rock.
