Summary: This DVD Rules
Review: If you are a Type O Negative fan buy this DVD. If not buy it anyway. Type O Negative is so damn funny in this video. You get all the videos they have made, including "Everything Dies". But why this stands apart from the VHS is because it has commentary by the Drab Four (the band) on the entire DVD. BUY IT.

Summary: Love the band....not the DVD
Review: The After Dark DVD does provide some excellent insight into the band and it does include all of their videos up to the time when this DVD was made. However, I feel like there should have been some more live footage of the band included. The chatting that occurs between each video is a lot of fun to watch the first time but it gets old with subsequent viewings. Same with the band's commentary. Instead of being so "chatty", this DVD could have used 30-40 minutes of live... TON music. One more problem with the disk that might drive you crazy is the fact that there is no chapter selection feature. If you want to watch just a few of the videos and not all the talking, you have to fast forward to them from the beginning of the disk everytime...

I'm giving this one 3 stars only because I like the band so much. I hope that as they release future DVD's, TON will hire a more competent DVD engineering team.

Summary: The Movie In A Nut Shell
Review: The movie is all the band members (mostly josh) walking around with a microphone talking to people at there concerts, to other bands and amongst themselves. That is kinda the intermission to there videos. Which consist of Black #1, Christina Woman(MTV version), Love You to Death, Christian Woman(long version), My Girlfriends Girlfriend, and Cinimon Girl. For most of the videos a few of the band members give there opinion on what they think the song is about. On each intermision there is one main person talking to the camera Peter is first up and is talking to some reporter asking questions about basicaly everything and nothing.... and thats about all with him. Next up is Jonny, he's talking about his hobbies and his thoughts on Black #1 thats about all. Next up is previous drummer Sal, that little section is short and sweet he says a few things and thats the end of him. Then Josh is going around with a mic and a little clip of him and Phill Ensalmo on Euro MTV (and youll be really suprised what happens on that little segment). Last but not least Kenny is at home with his wife and child having a little fun. Then a few moments with Josh and his thoughts and its the end. It sound really short but its really a good length video.

Summary: Only watch After Dark
Review: This DVD is really cool and a lot of fun. This has all of Type O Negatives' music videos as well as having fun on tour. The videos are awesome; especially "Everything Dies" and the full version of "Christian Woman." However, the real fun starts when you watch this with the commentary on. You learn the secrets behind the videos. I.E. why josh is rarely shown in them; the bad actors; and what happens to their food. My only qualm with DVD is that it is little too short, they could have added live songs.

Summary: For those who love music
Review: This is probably the best "music" video put out by a band. Not only do you get the band's collection of videos, but you get a great look at the personalities of the bandmembers. A must-own for any Type O Negative fan.

Summary: After Dark
Review: Type-O Negative fans will enjoy this inside look at the band, often in a comical light. One will also enjoy the videos of their soon to be classic tunes, such as "Black No. 1" and even their most recent, "Everything Dies". As in past reviews, I wish that the DVD had the option of just viewing the music, but the campy antics of the band on and off stage while on tour is enjoyable to watch. The videos are "dark" and equally enjoyable. This should top the list of any "Type-O" Fan!
