Summary: A must for any fan or upcoming fan
Review: This DVD gives you views you cannot see at any concert unless you are in the band. The quality is real good and its just a joy to see metallica that up close especially with the capability to see the band from five different angles thanks to DVD technology.

Summary: Metallica is still the best
Review: After about 20 years Metallica is still giving the fans what they want! Casual or die-hard fans alike will love this DVD. The "destruction" scene is worth the price itself. The only way this could have been any better is if there would have been multiple camera angles in all the songs. Keep on Rocking James!

Summary: Oustanding
Review: This has to be the best concert DVD yet. It is by far Metallica's best. Since it was shot specifically for DVD, the quality (audio and video) are amazing. The intro to "One" has the camera spinning around with explosions and strobe lights all around. In 5.1 Digital this sounds awesome! They play all the songs flawlessly (as far as I could tell), and their stage presence is incredible. The roar of the fans adds to the excitement. If you own anything by Metallica, add this to your collection. It is a must.

Summary: Overall, a great performance....
Review: I've never seen Metallica in concert before, so I thought watching this DVD would be a good way to see them. And believe me, I wasn't disappointed in the least bit! Jaymz and company are clearly enjoying themselves while at the same time making sure that the crowd was pumped up the whole time! The most memorable performance is "Enter Sandman" where part of the stage collapses because some guy decides to drop down from the top (via rope). And then there's "One" with the lights and explosions....

The DVD in general is great. You have multiple angles for three of the songs where you can see each of the players from a different camera. Then there's some documentary footage and a photo gallery. My only problem is the gratuitous profanity (but then again, what do you expect from Metallica?). If you can get past that, "Cunning Stunts" is definitely worth viewing!

Summary: A Great DVD! (over, and over, and over again)
Review: This is a great acheivement for the band, and a great acheivement technologically speaking as well! A few random thoughts...

- Metallica is an awesome live band, and some of their songs actually sound BETTER live. Given the complexity of their music, that is pretty damn amazing. So What, Creeping Death, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Last Caress, Am I Evil? and a few others are really enhanced by the extra energy of a live performance.

- James's voice is worn out, but I didn't find it distracted from the quality of the DVD. He doesn't sound BAD, but the wear and tear is clear.

- The best part about concert DVDs is the replay value. I have watched Cunning Stunts several times, so even if you aren't a die-hard fan, it definately pays off to pick up a copy.

Summary: The best Metallica video ever.
Review: I bought this DVD with high expectations, and that is exaclty what I got. With over three and a half of live performance this is the best Metallica video ever. I love the multiple angles you have on three out of the songs. I play the drums, so the whole song was left on the angle that caught the drummer, this feature is a very good thing to have on a DVD. This is a very good DVD, if you like Metallica, that's the video you'll wanna get.

Summary: The Best DVD concert to date!
Review: Metallica sets the standard for all the others! Outstanding camera work, outstanding sound quality and of course an outstanding performance by the group. Best DVD I have purchased to date. Not a Metallica fan? This DVD may change your mind.

Summary: the best dvd in my collection
Review: finally a dvd which uses the "angle feature". There is no jump from angle to angle it is a smooth transition. the sound is first rate and the bonus material is more than any metallica fan could want. the sound on the dvd was better than when i saw them in concert on this tour.
