Faith Hill - When the Lights Go Down

Summary: A little bit dissapointing
Review: As a fan of faith hill, this DVD get a low rating from me. There is no doubt her voice are fantastic but she get to much commercial in promoting of her.
If you expect to enjoy a great concert without interruption I can't recommand to buy this DVD. Through the "concert" it switch from concert to studiorecordings with interruption of backstage material.
It's sad that many producers of concert-DVD's don't seperate backstage and interview material from the concert-part.

Summary: Buy her music cd's instead!
Review: I found myself fast forwarding through most of the DVD. It falls short on music....a little to hollywood! Faith Hill is one of the attractive singers today, but I'd like less staged moves and glamour shots.....more music, please. I guess I'd like to see her in concert (song after song) rather then changing entire locations and scenes one after the next(comes across as a choppy video). I don't feel the DVD is worth the money....buy one of her cd's instead. She makes great music, not great DVD's.

Review: I realize folks might want more singing and less footage in the case of Faith Hill,perhaps because her fame is so well covered in the media already and because she has such a special voice and way of performing.Me,I have always loved seeing what goes on behind the stage,on rehersals etc. and I feel that this provides a chance to get a real good impression on the actual artist before the audience starts screaming and applauding!The DVD is also nice becuse it`s so well put together,it`s very easy to get where you wanna go on it.The extra material is not too exiting,however(if you`re interested,it`s mostly Faith taking pictures of her crew-yawn)and there are too few songs...of course...but all in all,I`d not skip this because of the rewievs on this page.
