Summary: POP NOT COUNTRY
Review: The Dixie Chicks were driven out of country music where they never belonged IMHO. If you like your bluegrass pop I guess maybe you might like this, but listen to the real thing (Bill Monroe, Rhonda Vincent) and you'll be able to tell the difference.
This is Yankee Bluegrass, Not to be Confused with the REAL THING!!
Besides all this these people do not deserve our support!

Summary: Would have been 5 stars if they didn't omit 4 songs
Review: I went to their show at the Fleet Center in Boston and had hoped they would release a DVD from this tour. This is a great DVD but I am really disappointed that 4 songs have been left off (Am I The Only One, Truth No.2, Mississippi and Top Of The World). The DVD format provides plenty of room so I know it wasn't a question of space. Was this done so people would buy the companion audio CD that includes these songs? Also, how do you not include Top Of The World when this tour was called 'The Top Of The World Tour'?? They should have taken a page out of Springsteen's book and released the concert as it was. Bruce even messed up on 'Spirit In The Night' and they didn't edit it out. Anyway, it is still a great DVD to add to your collection.

Summary: Wonderful Music at an Amazing Price
Review: All throught the year you heard the hype about the chicks.. the media couldn't stop talking about them, they were on everybody's mouths.. why???Their first headlining tour... the multiplatinum streak continuing with one of the top selling albums of the year... setting concert ticket sales records, and breaking previous records on their first day of ticket sales.... that's why!!! So now, if you were one of the many who couldn't get a ticket before they sold out, or if you were one who loved their live show, a full lenght concert has been released on CD & DVD (separately) for America's listening and watching pleasure. The Chicks surely understand their live shows energy cannot be captured on any media. That's why tickets weren't cheap. But don't be fooled by the LOW price on this DVD... it rocks this country!!! They say actions speak louder than words, but here the music is louder than any comments made about the band during the year. The only thing louder than their music is the tremendous fan energy all throughout the concert. If you like the Chiks music (that's why you're reading this, right?) buy this DVD immediately. At around 10 bucks you get an amazing concert... and an extra video (wow! what a video, better than Cash's Hurt) for Top of the World (the song form Home). The tracklist for this concert includes

Summary: Electrifyingly Awesome!
Review: I'm a music fan, and a love of live shows, and these women have star powered stage presence. They really know how to put on a powerful show. In a country music world that's turned pop, they do the opposite and purify and keep the essence of authentic country music in tact, the way it should be, not to mention very lyrically inspiring, AND THAT is what makes these women great musicians, AND THAT'S what intelligent people will remember and love them for. Keep your cynicistic judements towards them to yourself, be smarter than that.

Review: It was a great concert in person, and this is a great DVD. Fun editing shows the Chicks in different outfits and hairstyles, all within the same song. Excellent musicianship, great production values, this dvd is for anyone who loves an excellent concert by talented performers.

Summary: Rehash of the "Evening" Gig...just a tad flashier.
Review: The Dixie Chicks put up a DVD when "Home" was released...a dressy affair. Now the concert halls have booked them, and they do basically the same show, just a bit louder 'n rowdier. True, die-hard fans will love this DVD. Others will find it tedious.

Could be fantastic, better than seeing them live.
No annoying crowds or parking problems.

Picture quality might be better than "An Evening With"
If you crank up the volume, it will be loud!!
Price alone is worth it. Can't wait to enjoy this!
