Summary: Beautiful but Disappointing...
Review: I am sorry to previous reviewers here, but I don't think the concert was perfect to have 5 stars. I'll give just 3 stars. The songs, men's dances and Sarah's voice were beautiful but it's hard for me to experience a real concert feel. I think the concert was just one sided presentation not like being *one* between the artist and audience. Her voice was not vivid to hear except when she just speaks because echo effect was too deep during her singing. The accompaniment sounded like studio version. So, I strongly suspect some(or many) songs were lip-synced (very skillfully). And the stage was rather dark and reddish.

In spite of some negative points, some songs including "Nella Fantasia"(by Ennio Morricone) are too beautiful to forget. I also liked the super jewel case of this dvd, which is beautiful and creative. If you like to hear angel voices, I highly recommend you to try "A voice of an angel in concert" by Charlotte Church, a 13 year old angel.

Summary: I fell in love all over again!!!

Summary: The Best Concert Performed By An Angel !!
Review: Sarah Brightman has a voice like an angel. In One Night in Eden; Sarah has proven that she can sing classical, pop and operatic arias. This concert video is execellent because not only the variety of the songs, but also the choreography. For those who watched "Sarah Brightman in Concert 1997" and didn't like it; I challenge you to watch this one. The interview at the end of the video is also great with Dust In the Wing playing at the background. Sarah said she is easy to please with people but has high expectation on herself. The Eden CD and this video is so PERFECT and I just don't know how Sarah is going to top this.

Summary: A magnificent filming of the concert experience.
Review: Having had seen the concert in both San Francisco and San Diego, the video was anxiously awaited. The show was the most incredible performance I'd seen in years. Sarah Brightman's voice is incomparable and her ability to sing pop, classical, and operatic arias is amazing. The video was terrific, with the beginning introduction to the final interview. It was a real treat to have her perform Deliver Me, which was not sung in the concerts in SD/SF. I was lucky enough to see her perform live and receive three thunderous standing ovations. If you missed her show or want to remember it forever, then this video is a must have.

Summary: A MASTERPIECE
Review: I had the honor of seeing this concert live. The show was the best I have ever seen and Sarah sang so beautifully. I highly recommend the purchase of this video and if you ever have the chance to see Sarah live in concert, do not hesitate. Bravo Sarah!

Summary: Fantastic performance.
Review: I recieved the video yesterday and have viewed it four times. I am totaly captivated by Ms. Brightman. The beauty of her voice is stunning and the power she delivers without apparant effort is amazing. I have seen other vocalists performing these works and seem to be very hard at work to deliver half the power and range Ms. Brightman does without effort. The staging and lighting of the overall concert is wonderful as is Ms. Brightman's costumes.

Summary: The Best
Review: This is Sarah's career high-point so far. What a concert! With the addition of "Captain Nemo" and "La Mer" and the end interview, this is THE Sarah Brightman item to get. The DVD is so crystal clear I can't believe my eyes. "Who Wants To Live Forever" is gorgeous. And for anyone who didn't get to see the show live, "La Mer" is the coolest thing ever.

Summary: Superbly Excellent Concert
Review: I saw this concert on PBS one night and I completely fell in love with it. I had heard of Sarah Brightman before, and listened to a couple songs off the 'Eden' album... and then I saw her in concert (only concert I've ever been to). Let me tell you, this woman can sing! It was just like being there at the concert on TV. It was magnificent... Sarah Brightman is totally awesome.

Summary: What a beautiful voice!
Review: I saw a PBS broadcast of this concert, and I was amazed! Sarah has an incredibly beautiful voice that words cannot describe. There are several great songs on this video, including "Who Wants to Live Forever," "Dust in the Wind," "Il Mio Cuore Va (My Heart Will Go On)," and of course "Time to Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro)." I can't wait to be able to own this video for myself! Go buy it!

Summary: A masterpiece! You will believe in angels.
Review: Having had the pleasure of see "Eden" live I can't begin to tell you the emotion and charm that Ms. Brightman shares with her audience. This goes far beyond her widely acclaimed voice. Her performance and presentation is masterful. This concert takes you through a musical adventure of pop, new age, theatre and classical. Her voice moved me in ways I have never experienced in my many years of music listening. For those who haven't heard of Sarah Brightman...trust me on this one. You will not be disappointed.
