Summary: BEST CONCERT EVER "DTS" ONLY
Review: Perfect, Just Perfect. My tongue gets tired if i talk about this "EAGLES" concert. All I can say is that the DTS makes you feel like your in with the Band. In the DTS sound you can listen to the "STRINGS" of the Guitar from the left and right speakers and you can hear every instrument in the concert. Also, you can hear the clapping and whistling of the fans from the rare speakers. AWESOME, if there's a rating more than 5 stars i would give it 110%, I listen to it every 2 days. Check out RANDY TRAVIS LIVE concert, it's also a G-R-E-A-T Concert don't miss it. "DTS" OF COURSE.

Summary: Good DVD but what about the 5.1DD?
Review: This seems to be a very nice DVD . Only thing is that I can only listen to DVD's in 5.1 Dolby Digital. Sounds to me like you can only get the DVD in stereo or DTS format, kinda [is bad] that way, I was hoping for 5.1. This DVD doesn't get such a high rating from me due to this fact

Summary: Unbelievable Sound!!!
Review: I don't know whether to like this DVD or hate it. The sound is so absolutely amazing that it makes every CD I own sound horrible in comparison. I haven't listened to the DD 5.1 but the DTS track is eye-popping amazing.

Aside from the amazing sound, the picture clarity, staging, and song selection are outstanding.

If you don't mind having a DVD that provides a stark contrast to all your other CDs, then get this DVD ASAP!!!

Summary: CRISP, CLEAN AND PERFECT !!
Review: One of the best dvd's i've ever watched / owned. I recommend it 100%. The Eagles are more mature - and short-haired (only Timothy B.Schmit escaped from the barber). The performance, the video and the sound are outstanding. ALL the guys are Perfectionists (as always) and at their best - J.Walsh (Life In The Fast Lane), D.Felder (Hotel California), D.Henley (Wasted Time, Desperado) and it is nice to watch all of them smiling at one another in the beginning of 'Take It Easy' (probably they all remember how it all started..). Even if you're not an Eagles fan, go out and buy this, you'll love it and surely you'll become one! ALL the songs are great!! I especially love the 'unplugness'' which is very relaxing & soothing after a hard day's work and will put a smile on your face when you hear the first notes.. TRUST ME!

Summary: Amazing audio quality
Review: I enjoyed the concert when I first recorded it on VHS. A friend came over the house to hear my newly-purchased home theatre system and told me I had to get Hell Freezes Over. It's recorded in DTS and sounds great. I bought it and agree. The sound quality is incredible. My home theatre system is nice but not super expensive, more entry-level +. I've never heard sound quality like this before. You can hear every instrument!!!

Summary: Good one to relax
Review: This is a very good DVD to own - especially if you are an Eagles fan. The DTS recording makes it very good to listen too... and watching all those your favourite stars - Dan, Timothy, Glen and Joe (now turned oldies!) is fun! Especially the pre show documentary is very good. Shows the frustrations because they went rusty in 14 years, and their step by step composing is cool to watch. Well, they could have added some old videos also along with it - just for more fun!

Another noticeable flaw is the moment you start playing it, the program starts without any warning with Dan Henley speaking.

Other than that, this is a good piece that will stay attractive in your DVD collection! Go for it!

Summary: Eagles Hell Freezes Over DVD-DTS
Review: Having grown up with groups like The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd and The Stones, I had high expectations when I received this DVD from Santa. I was not disappointed. My only complaint was the DTS recording. If you do not have a DTS decoder, you only get a stereo signal. I was looking for a 5.1 audio presentation. Also, without a DTS decoder you cannot access the extra track-Seven Bridges Road.

Otherwise, the presentation is flawless. Following a long separation, The Eagles came together wonderfully for their Hell Freezes Over tour. These are 5 very gifted musicians that understand the difference between making music and making noise. There is such a loving presentation of their work, with the accompanying smiles on their faces, that you know they enjoyed the experience-as did I.

With a little research I found the non DTS version on Amazon. If you don't have DTS-consider the alternative. I can only imagine how this would sound in Dolby Digital 5.1 that I could decode. Pity.

Summary: Eagles DVD Great x-mas present!!
Review: I know there are plenty of reviews. But after getting it as a Christmas present, I must say something because I am so impressed with this DVD. I am now very appreciative of two things; 1) the Eagles as musicians; 2) the quality of the DVD, video and sound-wise (DTS!!). With all members playing their own instruments which included 12 string acoustic and classical guitar, and some switching between instruments, I couldn't help but be impressed I took them for granted when they were around in the 70's. Now I am touched with their provocative and thoughtful lyrics and impressed by the high level of their artistry as musicians performing the songs that they themselves wrote. Who does that anymore now? I recommend this DVD to anybody. BTW, it really helps if you have a nice home theater set up with large screen and DTS sound capability.

Summary: A must have for an Eagle's fan!!!!
Review: By far this is the BEST DVD concert.I have seen the Eagles just recently in Denver and this is just as good if not better.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must-have concert DVD
Review: I find that movies often lose their appeal after a few viewings, but a concert is like a cd. You can put it in and even if you aren't watching, you can listen and do something else. This is the best concert dvd out there. The DTS encoding puts it over the top. If you are an Eagles or Henley, or Walsh fan, it is a must-have!
