Review: As a first time listener to Andrea Bocelli, I am thrilled by the sound of his voice. I was never particularly fond of the other Three Tenors (although I could certainly appreciate their great talent), but the "simpatia" of Andrea's lilting voice, along with his gentle spirit, have instantly transformed me into a FAN! The video, An Evening in Tuscany, was both visually and melodically enriching. He possesses, at once, both charisma and peace. I have just made out my Christmas list, and I will probably buy about 5 for family and friends. CIAO!

Review: The quality of the video was low grade. Although I thoroughly enjoy Bocelli's voice - the audio of this video was abysmal and did not do him justice. The concert was recorded live and outdoors and was, I hope, the reason the audio was so weak. It would be a shame if the Bocelli voice/sound is only wonderful in the confines of a recording studio.The personal information about Andrea was informative but overdone. I guess I wanted more music and less talk. My opinion - I didn't think the video was worth the purchase price.

Review: The European blend of opera and pop is exquisitely found in this "moment" in time. Bocelli sings opera. What transcends the arguements as to whether he is or isn't an opera singer is that he sings from his heart and soul. He pulls you into that space, wraps you with gentleness and serenity, and embraces the woundedness in people. Critics - give it up. We undestand you know opera. Bocelli will touch far more lives than many great opera singers. He is a rare gift. His liability is his strength.

Review: Andrea Bocelli has the power to transport you with his music... you feel as if you are actually in the audience. His life story, dedication and love for his family adds so much to the emotion that he packs into his performance. He is definitely an inspiration to us all. I also feel he has opened a doorway to many younger people with his style of singing, making it fun to listen to classical music. I highly recommend the video to anyone who wants to be overwhelmed with wonderful feelings.
