Rating: Summary: don't buy this Review: I taped the orginal concert in stereo this video is not in stereo, so if you have a good sound system you will be Disappointed
Rating: Summary: How we should remember Elvis Review: I am glad that this video is in circulation. Fans who want to remember the latter-days Elvis as a young and attractive man who could belt out a song with the best of them should purchase and keep this video. Unlike the video of Elvis' last two shows in 1977, this should be the King's video finale.
Rating: Summary: TheVery Best Elvis Concert Review: This Is Elvis At His Very Bes
Rating: Summary: A Great Show Review: This is the Best Elvis concert that i have seen since i saw him live at madison square garden on june 11 1972.the remastered sound is incredible especially on the song something the strings and horns are tremendous.and Elvis delivers his best ever performance of American Trilogy which is in my opinion the highlight of this his Greatest Album.
Rating: Summary: He Showed Why He Was Named King Review: I was just 10 years old in 73 when the concert aired.I remember watching it with my mom and dad,and saying wow I'm going to grow up and be like Elvis Presley.I thought it was great back then and I've seen it several times since and it get's better and better each time.LONG LIVE THE KING OF ROCK N ROLL ..ELVIS PRESLEY!!
Rating: Summary: An Enjoyable, But Overrated "Aloha" Review: "Aloha From Hawaii" has some classic moments, particularly Elvis Presley's definitive rendition of "An American Trilogy." However, this is not among Presley's best concerts. Though he looks and sounds great, Elvis' performance lacks the passion and humor so evident in "The 1968 Comeback Special" and "That's the Way It Is." Still, "Aloha From Hawaii" remains an enjoyable concert with an excellent song selection that captures the full spectrum of Presley's musical vision.
Rating: Summary: The last of Elvis Presley at his best. Review: This would be the last time we would see Elvis Presley at his best before his death, six years later. Elvis looked more handsome than 10 movie stars for this world wide performance. He would never again be as fit, vocally, as well a physically. This video is his BEST work. Long Live The King.
Rating: Summary: the king of all Review: i always loved elvis and i have seen all his movies this is the bes
Rating: Summary: Totally invigorating, awesome video for Elvis fans. Review: Short and sweet - one of the best audio and video recordings made of the King. Made at the high point of his physical appearance and musical ability, we've nearly worn out this exceptional concert video. Highly recommended!
Rating: Summary: A Subdued Performance From a Star Review: This concert has its moments, but it's too bad that in one of Elvis's most widely-seen appearances he is so subdued. Word has it that he was extremely nervous and didn't want to take any chances on stage -- and it shows. He looks good, but appears stiff and is almost immobile at times. If you really want to see Elvis come alive on stage, buy Elvis On Tour. In that film, he's much looser and the live footage has the feel of a real rock concert. This appearance is too bland and packaged.
