Summary: elvis at his prime with something still to prove
Review: After bombing in vegas 13 years earlier he kills the crowd with his dynamic performance. He paralyzes the audience and sells out every show. This will show why he was set apart from all other preformers.

Summary: Elvis at 35 years shows why he was the best.
Review: There's a mystique about the success of Elvis. How this man with an untrained voice was able to succeed is answered in this documentary about his preparation for a show in Las Vegas. The range of his voice, the work he would put into a show, the perfection he demanded are all there. I came away thinking what a tragic hero to have died the way he did. He was without doubt the most influential voice of the last part of the 20th century.

ELVIS LIVE!!!

Summary: Great performance, but in mono
Review: Elvis is great, no doubt about that. The performances here are excellent. But why does this dvd play in mono? The shows were recorded in stereo and the title has been out in stereo on video cassette before. And it says stereo on the cover.

A good show, but a disappointment soundwise. Hopefully it will be rereleased. END

Summary: Turner Travesty
Review: This is a Turner Entertainmnet/AOL/Time/Warner film. It is NOT the MGM film. Turner has destroyed my memory of the original film. There's lots missing, nothing has been added except a (for the most part) horrible sounding soundtrack. A travesty. Stick with the old MGM VHS.

Summary: This shows the real Elvis
Review: This is the best Elvis movie yet, because it is real, about Elvis. It shows him exactly the way he was, humble, modest, funny, and a great performer.

Summary: Cool Trivia
Review: When watching the rehearsal portion of this DVD, check out James Burton's music stand! You'll see an original sheet music copy of American Trilogy by Micky Newberry. It would be two more years before Elvis cut this!

I bet there is outake of them performing this somewhere which would be cool to see and hear!

Summary: The best from the King!
Review: I bought this video and, let me tell you, I`m amazed by the whole stuff, from the rehearsals, full of humor, serious moments and interesting approach, to the thrilling concerts, where Elvis shows his best vocal skills. If you are a fan, you should watch this video, at the end is very possible you buy it.
